About Us
East Mountain Flooring, first established in Edgewood, NM in 2004 at 150 State Road 344 (corner of 344 & Dinkle) in Edgewood.
Our showrooms feature carpet from Mohawk and Beaulieu; ceramic and porcelain tile and natural stone products from DAL, Emser, Crossville and Interceramic; hardwood, laminate and vinyl flooring; and custom window coverings, including shutters and drapes, from Kirsch and Levolor. We offer a selection of instock carpet and tile for the do-it-yourselfer, as well as hundreds of samples of special order products, and quality installation by our own team of experienced installers.
Our prices are competitive, but more important is the level of personal service we provide to our customers. From the initial selection of products, design assistance, free measuring and in-home consulting, all the way through installation, we take pride in helping our customers realize their “decorating dreams”, whether for one room or an entire house.

John J. Giovenco, owner of East Mountain Flooring. has over 39 years of experience in the flooring industry, including installation of carpet, tile, wood and vinyl, warehouse management, product sales, and retail store management. His expertise is in both residential and commercial applications, with emphasis on custom installations.
Vicci Giovenco has been in the flooring industry since birth. She is very knowledgeable in sales of carpet and tile and specializes in custom designs for backsplashes and shower surrounds. She oversees the day-to-day operation of the stores, including accounts payable and receivable.
Debe Hallemeier, decorating consultant, combines her natural flair and creativity with over 20 years of practical experience selling floor, wall and window coverings to help customers “tie it all together”. Whether your style is traditional, contemporary, Southwestern, or eclectic, she enjoys the challenge of combining form and function for a finished look that fits your finances.
